ONUKA is a collaborative project by Eugene Filatov (aka "The Maneken"), a well- known Ukrainian sound-producer and musician, and Nata Zhyzhchenko, an ex-vocalist of "Tomato Jaws" and "Kooqla".

Onuka’s signature sound is an organic mix of electronic, contemporary pop music and Ukrainian folk traditions. For the very first time, Onuka has managed to present the richness of Ukrainian heritagefused with contemporary electronic music to a wide audience.

EP ("Look","Vidlik") and LP ("Onuka"). The releases of the "Look" EP and "Onuka" LP hit the top of the Ukrainian iTunes chart. The debut album featured hit tracks "Time" and "Misto".

"Vidlik" is the first release through Onuka’s own record label "Vidlik".

The main theme of the "Vidlik" EP is the Chernobyl nuclear disaster that resonated with the public and caused intense discussions. The release fostered the growth of a powerful fan base, in Ukraine, as well as in Asian countries, especially in Japan.

In 2016 ONUKA introduced the new project in collaboration with The National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments (NAONI). Legendary Victor Gutsul conducted the performances. In May 2017, ONUKA appeared as a Special Guest in Kyiv at Eurovision Song Contest. Within a few days ‘Vidlik’ entered the top of European iTunes electronic charts (UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and other countries). 2017 also brought ONUKA European tour, collaboration with Deep Forest and list of awards.

The eagerly awaited LP “MOZAЇKA” — was released in March 2018. In support of the new album ONUKA performed their shows in 14 Ukrainian cities. Also they played tracks from MOZAÏKA at the European music festivals, such as Sziget (HU) and Pohoda (SK). The European leg of the tour scheduled for 2019.
